The Roosevelt Collection, owned by McCaffery Interests, consists of residential lofts, retail and restaurant space and the ICON Theater. In the center of the space, an outdoor concourse was in need of a revitalization, striking enough to live up to the expectations of the Loop and the quality of the surrounding space. In order to increase foot traffic, the curb appeal needed to be more inviting and intriguing.
Working with lighting design firm Lightswitch Architectural, we were able to integrate some existing LED fixtures with 1,000’s of new LED nodes, tubes and video signage displays. We implemented a control system using a d3 Technologies server enabling the lighting playback unit to control all aspects of the lighting and video system in a unified manner.
The revitalized outdoor concourse creates an exciting and lively experience for the residents and patrons at Roosevelt Collection. The seasonal and Chicago specific imagery helps to anchor this development as a feature property in the Chicago market place.
